After testing quite a few of the newer distros such as Pop OS 19.10, Linux Mint 19.3 and 19.1, Peppermint OS, and Zorin OS, it seems that these all run about 20 C degrees hotter. I have spent quite a bit of time combing through forums attempting to remedy this. It does seem to be a problem that has caused issues with the Linux community for sometime. The answers to fix this range from changing video drivers to reloading the OS because it may have loaded incorrectly. The one tging everyone should realize that not only there is a learning curve to Linux, but there is a whole lot of trial and error. And when something does work without errors, leave it alone! So the best piece of advice is to BACKUP often!!!
