GPU: built in Console at the moment hoping to put in Sapphire Dual-X R9 280X 3GB

Used the Dell software to create a bootable USB that upgraded the BIOS and firmware of the system components. I did this so that the Poweredge would recognize the dual CPU upgrade with the 32GB DDR3 ram upgrade.

    Installed 7x 146GB 15K SAS drives in Raid0
    Installed 5x 600GB 10K SAS drives in Raid0
Installed 4x 2TB 7.2K SATA SSHD drives as 4x single drives.

Installed Linux (PeppermintOS 10 Respin) on the Raid0 15K drives.
Attempted to install the Dual-X R9 280X 3GB GPU but got stuck at:

    “Initializing Firmware Interfaces”

Removed the GPU and it is still stuck at that.
