      Falcon BMS 4.33 Installation Instructions

    1-Install Falcon 4.0
a-Obtain Falcon 4.0 from either Steam or GOG or use an old CD.
b-Follow the instructions for the installation remembering where you are installing it to. Remember that you will only need to have it installed on your computer and can put it on a slow storage device.

    2-Install Falcon BMS 4.33
It is highly advisable to head over to Benchmark Sims, sign up for an account, and log into the forums to get the BMS 4.33u1 to 4.33u5 in order to install. I also have them over at the VWorldUS Google Drive

When installing BMS 4.33, keep in mind that it will give problems if you are trying to install in a folder that starts with an @ or _. This does not seem to be an issue with BMS 4.34.

Make sure you configure the game with your video card application (such as nVidia Control Panel or Radeon Control Software) and check the BMS “configuration” utility along with the in game Settings.

UnitedOperations.net has a write up over at BMS Configuration and Setup However, I find the configuration guide over at Falcon Online to be the best settings.

If you need help, you can check out the video called 4.0 Minute Falcon – BMS 4.33 Installation & Setup Tutorial (WARNING: The video is adult language)

It is also wise to install BMS on an SSD for faster response and start the game with a batch file loading the game in High processor priority.

    cd C:\Games\FalconBMS\Bin\x64
    start /high "" "Falcon BMS.exe"
    exit

Here are also some of the configurations I select.
Start Falcon BMS 4.33 and select Configuration. Once opened, leave all at default except the following:
-Avionics > Cursor Speed > Cursor Speed (075%)
    -General > Briefing/Debriefing > Append New Briefings
    -General > Briefing/Debriefing > HTML Briefings
-General > Field of View (FOV) > FOV (70%)
