I like the idea of AMD and have attempted time after time to support them, but I have almost always found myself using nvidia and Intel in my main machines. Why is that? AMD has constantly hyped things a little too much and poorly performing to those types. The flickers have plagued the drivers for a long time now and seem to be a major problem for most. Instead of fixing what is there, new hardware is touted as the fix. A great example is the DX9 and DX11 issues with AMD XCrossFire. Still huge issues and yet no tools (like nVidia’s Profile Inspector) released so that the end user can even try to fix them. Instead they release drivers with this Boost technology… Click here to read about that.
